That’s right, we’re moving on up!

For the past two and a half years, bs angel has graciously allowed us to operate out of her Hawty McBloggy forums. After she moved on to bigger and better things at 343i, we decided it would be in our best interest to move on as well. Over the past two weeks we have worked hard to get our new home base operational, and just earlier today, we opened up its doors. There are still some things that need to be done, such as create our own custom theme, but its functional enough for us to use. To get to the new forums, simply click here or click on the “Forum” button in the menu on the right.

If you received an email from us about the move, that means you can log in right now using the same login credentials that you used for HMF. If you were registered at HMF and didn’t receive an email, please double check all of your email accounts (as well as your spam folders) to make sure you really didn’t get one. If you didn’t receive one, it doesn’t hurt to try and log in with your HMF username and password. If that doesn’t work, you’ll need to make a new account (don’t forget to make a profile thread!).

To celebrate the opening of our new forum, we are hosting a Spirits of Fire Community Night tomorrow at 11pm EDT.  The game for the night is Halo Reach. If you’d like to play, stop by the forums and RSVP in this thread. Hope to see you there, and we’ll see you on the new forums!

Visiting from another clan or community? Looking to play some games? Great! We love meeting and gaming with new people. If you would like to schedule a mixer or challenge with us, please feel free to use the link below to do so. Here at SoF, we are generally a more laid back and fun loving group, so mixers tend to be our thing. But we’ll defend our honor and throw down if you tease us enough.

When scheduling your mixer or challenge, please make sure you include the following information:

-Desired arena of battle
-Whether you want a mixer or a challenge (all challenges will be considered recreational challenges)
-How many players should be present on both sides
-In the event of a challenge, please include your choices of maps and gametypes. Further details can be agreed upon with an event coordinator.

Hawty McBloggy is hosting The Fundfax Fairraiser, a fundraiser for Marissa (the little girl suffering from infantile spasms). The prizes are a cornucopia of gamer delights. It’s only a dollar donation per entry! Enter as many times as you want and win as many prizes as you can, all while helping Marissa and her family though this tough time.

For the first time, the Spirits of Fire will step onto the battlefield as one team, one clan, and take on another established unit in the long-awaited challenge against HaloCharts.  Is it in retaliation for when they took over our beloved forums when their site went down? For a few, perhaps (never forget!). But in reality, it’s all about making good memories with some of our good friends and closest allies. Win or lose, all that matters is showing some good sportsmanship and possibly even the business end of bs angel’s codpiece.

The challenge commences tonight at 6PM PST.

Maps and Gametypes will include:

• Team Slayer on Standoff
• Neutral Bomb on Valhalla
• Team Slayer on Sandtrap
